Who we are
Inspired by Celestial Patterns, Committed to Learning
Founded in 2010 by Dr. Ali Öktem, the Astrology and Space Sciences Association (ASSAUSA) is a U.S.-based educational and research organization dedicated to the thoughtful study of celestial phenomena and their reflection in human experience. Headquartered in the United States, ASSAUSA welcomes individuals interested in astronomy, cultural symbolism, and the historical understanding of the heavens.
Our goal is not to predict the future or assign cosmic power to stars, but to encourage reflection, self-awareness, and curiosity through the observation of natural patterns. We explore how the movements of celestial bodies have historically inspired people to ask deeper questions about their existence and the universe.
ASSAUSA promotes a blend of astronomical knowledge and symbolic analysis as a tool for education—not as absolute truth or spiritual authority. We aim to help learners engage in critical thinking, personal growth, and respectful cultural dialogue about ancient traditions and modern discoveries.
We offer international certificate programs in areas such as symbolic chart interpretation, lunar cycle observation, and astronomy fundamentals. These programs are led by experienced mentors and emphasize ethical learning, academic integrity, and personal development. Successful students receive certificates that reflect their learning journey—not spiritual rank or metaphysical claims.
As a registered organization, we maintain full transparency and academic standards. Our membership system allows curious learners to join educational activities at various levels—from beginners to advanced researchers. Members receive access to lectures, articles, discussion forums, and collaborative research projects.
ASSAUSA also supports educational outreach, science communication, and respectful exchange across cultures and disciplines. Our collaborations include astronomers, educators, and historians from around the world to ensure our approach remains scientifically grounded, culturally sensitive, and intellectually enriching.
At ASSAUSA, we believe the study of the heavens is a way to appreciate the vastness of creation, reflect on our place in the cosmos, and grow in humility—not to control fate or rely on unseen forces. Whether you’re here to explore historical sky maps or understand how ancient cultures viewed the stars, you are welcome in our learning community.
